What began as a vision to inspire young people has transformed into a world-class youth camp. The Washington Family Ranch was donated to Young Life in 1997 by Dennis R. Washington as a facility for its non-denominational youth summer camp ministry. Washington Family Ranch is the largest of Young Life’s thirty-two camps worldwide. Young Life is a non-denominational, Christian organization committed to impacting kids’ lives and preparing them for the future.
Each summer over 7,000 teenage campers come to Washington Family Ranch for a week each will remember for a lifetime. Washington Family Ranch offers an unparalleled setting for summer camps filled with recreational facilities ranging from a skate park to zip lines to an incredible pool.

The newest addition to Washington Family Ranch is a resort complex for middle school youth named Creekside, featuring a water slide and pool with a mining theme as well as camper cabins, club room, and dining hall. The addition of Creekside will carry on Young Life’s tradition of world-class camping. Creekside was completed in 2011 and hosts approximately 400 middle school-aged campers every week of the summer to experience “the best week of their lives.”
