12.21.11 - Evening at the Theater Benefits Charities
The Washington Companies' third annual Evening at the Theater, December 6, 2011, was a success in more ways than one. Held at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts, many employees, families and invited guests enjoyed a stellar performance of the acclaimed musical "She Loves Me".
All ticket proceeds were matched by the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation with the sum donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Missoula. Additionally, donations of food items collected at the door resulted in 267 lbs. of food given to the Missoula Food Bank, plus nearly 100 lbs. of pet food delivered to Animeals, a Missoula animal shelter.
This company-sponsored event has proven a great way to support Missoula Community Theater, local charities, and to offer fun family entertainment in the holiday season.
