My father in law chose to give my wife and I the Pay it Forward gift card. I had been out of work for some time and struggling. Primarily, the funds were used to purchase my wife updated lenses for her glasses and an eye exam at the eye doctor. The remainder was spent at Safeway for groceries, at Walgreens for a prescription, and the remaining $10 was spent on gas.
It was a blessing that we were given the card as we really needed the funds at the time for essentials. Thank you so much to the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation for being so giving and allowing my father-on-law to "Pay-it-Forward" during our tough time.
